Amanda Glaser, CFI, CFII, AGI
I found my passion for aviation later in life, and I have been a pilot and member of Aeroventures since 2021. I love to fly, and I love to share that sense of wonder.
As a CFI, I am excited to help you with aircraft checkouts, flight reviews, IPCs, currency/proficiency, cross countries, checkride prep, ground training, and Instrument and Commercial pilot training.
I am also passionate about safety and an FAA Safety Team Team Rep. Let me know if you want to work through a module of the WINGS program!
Personally, I am a graduate of Duke University, where I met my husband, Paul. When I’m not flying or working, I enjoy Formula 1, baking, and travel.
Please reach out if you’d like to fly with me!

David Hsu, CFI, CFII, MEI
Hi, I’m David.
I like to focus on making complex concepts into the simple and practical, whether it’s nailing your landings, understanding IFR procedures, or preparing for a checkride. My goal isn’t just to help you pass, but to make sure you truly understand how to fly and make decisions as a real pilot.
Whether if you are needing a currency flight or working toward Instrument/Commercial, I’ll tailor each lesson to your goals!
Can’t wait to meet you all! SAFE FLIGHTS

Steven Hurst, CFI, CFII, MEI
I am a flight instructor with commercial, instrument, single, and multi-engine ratings. I have helped build two experimental aircraft and am experienced in both ultra light and tail wheel aircraft. I have flown commercial charter and cargo operations with professional flight crew. I have been instructing for more than 50 years, and have given over 2000 hours of dual instruction.
My specialty is instrument instruction to increase your flying safety. I give simulator instruction in a full motion Redbird FMX at KPDK. Some of my students are currently flying for both major airlines and the Air Force. I look forward to helping you meet your aviation goals.

Shaniya Marshall, CFI
My journey into aviation began at 17 with a discovery flight from Concord, NC to Boston, MA—an experience that didn’t just inspire a passion for flying, but launched a clear mission: to build a career in aviation and help others do the same.
All ratings—Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial Single-Engine, and Certified Flight Instructor—were earned through Aeroventures, building a strong foundation across all phases of pilot training.
As a CFI, my goal is simple: help students succeed faster, with confidence. Training is built around a structured study system developed through firsthand experience—designed to simplify complex topics, accelerate learning, and prepare students not just for check-rides, but for real-world flying.
Whether you're just starting your aviation journey or advancing to the next level, you expect clear instruction, personalized guidance, and a strong focus on safety, proficiency, and long-term success in aviation.
I am available full-time on both weekdays and weekends. I look forward to helping you achieve your aviation goals!

I love being up in the air. More than happy to help members with flight reviews, checkouts, check ride prep, maneuvers, cross country flying and building time towards your commercial license.
